BOOKINGS: All coaches are non-smoking. Seats are allocated at the time of booking. All trips return at 17.30, unless stated. Exact pick up times are advised at the time of booking.
CHILD FARES: 3 to 15 years child fares apply, 16 years and over adult fares apply. One child under 3 years travel free when not occupying a seat and accompanied by two paying adults, unless there is an admission charge at the destination required
As of 1 July 2015, all children MUST occupy a seat, a charge of £10.00 (plus admission, where applicable) for all children under 3 will be applied
CANCELLATIONS: We reserve the right to cancel any excursion where the bookings have not reached an economical level to run. In such cases all monies paid will be refunded or transferred to another excursion of your choice. All refunds come from head office; please do not intimidate office staff if they can’t issue a refund immediately.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE.
ADMISSIONS: Admission costs are not included unless stated
WHEELCHAIRS: Please notify at the time of booking if a wheelchair needs to be transported.
DEPARTURES: Passengers are advised to be at the departure points on both outward and return journeys 10 minutes before the departure time stated on your ticket, as no responsibility can be accepted for late arrivals.
COACHES: Due to demand at peak times or other circumstances beyond our control you are advised that carriage may be in coaches other than those owned or operated by the company. In the event of a Mechanical failure a replacement vehicle will be sent out at the earliest possibility
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS: All details outlined on your ticket should be accurate at the time of booking and no responsibility can be accepted by the company for errors on tickets after it has been issued.
PASSENGERS MUST: It is the passenger’s responsibility to telephone 24-48 hours prior to departure to check pick up times or for cancellation
Majestic & Elizabethan Travel will not be held responsible if you do not, all calls may be recorded.
COMPLAINTS: Must be put in writing and forwarded to our office address.
BEHAVIOUR: Abusive behaviour or bad language to any of our staff or on our premises/vehicles will not be tolerated, anyone found to be committing this act will be asked to leave. Police may be informed.
DAMAGE & SICKNESS: Anyone causing damage to company vehicles/property will be prosecuted. Sickness carries an immediate fine of £25.00. Rewards may be offered to anyone reporting damage.
The coach is hired on condition that all legal requirements are complied with i.e. driver's hours etc.
COACHES: We reserve the right to sub-contract other coaches at any time also to substitute a lesser standard of vehicle i.e. executive coach to standard coach if circumstances beyond our control demand this. Sometimes due to operational difficulties some of our ‘on board’ facilities may not be available. The price quoted is for the hire of the coach, using information given and detailed on your confirmation &/or invoice. Any extra mileage or time involved will incur an extra charge.
TIMES & DELAYS: We cannot delay any departure due to late arrivals at pick up points. The Company does not accept any loss of expenses incurred by the late arrival or departure of coaches, ferries or aircraft. We will not be responsible if mechanical breakdown, adverse weather conditions, floods, strikes, civil disturbance, demonstrations or traffic conditions cause ANY delay.
UNREASONABLE BEHAVIOUR: The Company reserves the right to refuse admission or re-admission to coaches if in the Company or any of it’s drivers/couriers opinion a client’s behaviour is likely to disturb to comfort, safety or wellbeing of other passenger, the Company will not responsible for any expense incurred.
COMPLAINTS: Should a passenger have a complaint during one of our tours they should inform our representative immediately. They should bear in mind however that we have no direct control over airlines, shipping companies, restaurants, hotels and theatre ticket allocations. All observations should be made in writing to our office on return of the tour.
TOUR COSTS: The Company reserves the right to pass on any significant increase in relation to fuel or unfavourable foreign exchange rates. Increases will not be charged less than six weeks prior to departure, if been paid.
LUGGAGE & PERSONAL ITEMS: We do not take responsibility for loading luggage or personal belongings carried or left on our or sub-contracted vehicles.
PAYMENT OF BALANCE: Failure to pay the balance at the due date may mean that we treat the booking as cancelled & we reserve the right to ask for a cancellation charge
CANCELLATIONS: If you wish to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances a cancellation charge will be made. If cancellation is less than 48 hours before the day of departure the full cost of the tour is payable.
THE LICENCING ACT 1962 It is an offence under Section 22 of the above Act to carry excisable liquor of any kind on private hire coaches
NO ALCOHOL WHATSOEVER ON BOARD
THEATRE, TICKETS, MEALS etc: When a booking is made for tickets etc. the hirer will be responsible for the payment in full for such tickets, etc., when they are available. The company reserve the right to charge a reasonable sum to cover wages, expenses, etc., should a cancellation be made without reasonable warning.(this includes the hire of the vehicle).
The decision of the company on any question relating to these regulations if final.
